Being “Always Sunny” means rewarding people and organizations in our community who take a positive, proactive approach to making a difference.
That’s why this June, during our Giving Campaign, the San Diego Honda Dealers are donating a portion of every new Honda sold to three incredible local charities. With your help, we’re going to donate up to $30,000 to help keep our community as sunny as possible.
Emilio Nares passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just before his sixth birthday. His parents honored his memory by creating the Emilio Nares Foundation to provide low-income underserved families with transportation to and from cancer appointments, as well as assistance with their financial, emotional, medical, and legal needs during treatment.
ArtReach believes that all youngsters, regardless of socioeconomic status, benefit from the opportunity to practice creative thinking and creative doing. They strive to increase access to visual arts education by connecting students at K-8 schools throughout San Diego County with practicing artists.
San Diego Coastkeeper helps identify solutions to problems such as water supply challenges and urban runoff. They use community outreach, education and advocacy to empower San Diegans to guard their clean water and healthy ecosystem and fix pollution hazards.
